Automatic Transfer Use this service to set up transfers between your PSB accounts to make a loan payment, safe deposit box payment, or add a little to your saving account. Ask us for details on other transfer possibilities. Bank by Mail Deposit or make payments by mail when you can’t get to the bank. Receipts for the transaction will not be issued, however, transactions will be posted to the account like other transactions. Bounce Protection Bounce Protection is an overdraft privilege that requires no action on your part. Each personal checking account has a specific Bounce Protection amount automatically assigned. Bounce Protection allows you to enter into an overdraft position without having insufficient checks returned. When each overdraft is covered by your Bounce Protection limit, the bank automatically subtracts a set NSF fee for each transaction. This is not a loan or line of credit! Contact us for more details. Click here to find out more about Bounce Protection Coin Deposit Center Bring your piggy bank, jug or jar, whatever you have that is collecting your spare change to the Main Office or our Alexandria Lee Street office. These offices have a Self-Service Coin Deposit Center that will count your unrolled coins and issue a receipt that you can use to open an account, make a deposit, or get a little extra spending money. This service is FREE for Peoples State Bank customers Cashier’s Checks Cashiers checks are $5.00 for customers and $10.00 for non-customers. (This is also known as an Official Check) Customer Service/Bookkeeping Contact Customer Service to find out account balances, transfer money, research items, or place a stop payment, plus much more.
Direct Deposit Simple. Safe. Secure. Have your payroll, social security or military paycheck deposited directly into your checking account. Separate sign up is required; contact us for assistance. Drive-Up Banking Most of our drive thru lanes open at 8:00 a.m. every Monday through Friday. A quick and convenient way to bank before work or after dropping the kids at school. Extended hours on Fridays! Check our Locations for Saturday banking as well. FAX and Copy Services Our customers can come in to send or receive faxes. First page is $5.00 and each additional page is $1.00. Call ahead of time if a fax is being sent to a branch location. Copies can be made at most branches for $0.25 per page. Gift Cards MasterCard Gift Cards can be purchased at any full service location. Great for birthdays, anniversaries, wedding, new baby, or just because. Merchant Services
Money Orders Customers can purchase money orders for $2.00 each and non-customers can purchase money orders for $4.00 each. Night Depository Night deposit is available at select locations. Keys for night depository are $2.00 each. Safe Deposit Box Safe Deposit Boxes are available at most locations; however, please call to check on size availability. You must have a checking or savings account to rent a box. Payment is automatically debited from your account each year. If you close your account or do not wish to open an account, the rental fee will be doubled.
Special Coins Coin collector sets are available at our Main Office in Many. You can call or stop by for a complete list. Generally we have U.S. One Cent Collector sets, U.S. Nickel Collector sets, American Eagle Silver Dollars, and various state quarter sets. Travelers Checks Traveler’s checks are available in $10, $20, $50, $100. Customers can purchase traveler checks for 1% of purchase. Traveler’s checks for two will be 1.5% of purchase. U.S. Savings Bonds A secure source for purchasing US Saving Bonds as gifts or for your own investment. We have Series I or EE (Patriot Bond) Bonds available. Previous E bonds can be converted to H bonds. Stop by for more information. Wire Transfers Contact the nearest branch for a Wire Transfer Specialist. Deadline for same day transfers is 1:00 p.m.
